About Rachel:

With a passion for language rooted in her early love of linguistics and creative writing, Rachel brings over two decades of teaching experience to her role. She has supported students across the UK, Hong Kong, and Sweden, helping learners aged 7 and up find their voice and excel in English. Rachel is especially committed to making education accessible for all. Her work spans exam resits and apprenticeship-aligned Functional Skills, and her personalised approach helps learners overcome academic barriers and thrive at their own pace. Alongside tutoring, Rachel leads professional development for educators through DfE-funded programmes. As a qualified Therapeutic Coach, she also specialises in supporting children and young people affected by trauma or executive function challenges — combining academic rigour with deep emotional understanding.
