Duncan brings a wealth of experience and leadership to his role as an English tutor, having spent over 15 years delivering high-quality teaching to learners of all abilities. In his former roles as Head of KS3 English and Head of English, he developed curriculum approaches that balanced academic rigour with creative inspiration. He specialises in GCSE and A Level preparation, with detailed knowledge of all major exam boards. His sessions are individually tailored to build analytical skills, exam technique, and most importantly—confidence. With a proven track record of helping students surpass expectations, Duncan is focused on unlocking each learner’s full potential.

Beyond the classroom, Duncan’s passion for literature and language shines through. His teaching encourages personal engagement and independent thought, helping students develop a deeper and lasting appreciation of English.
