About Alison:

Alison Stewart is the guiding light behind Aspire2Shine — a passionate educator with over 25 years of experience working with children and young people aged 3 to 18. Her career spans leadership roles including Head of Primary, Head of Safeguarding & Pastoral Care, and Senior Deputy Head at a thriving Oxfordshire independent school. Alison’s vision for Aspire2Shine was born from a deep belief that education should nurture the whole child — academically, emotionally, and personally. She brings a rare blend of academic excellence, pastoral insight, and lived experience to her work, creating a service that empowers learners to thrive in every sense. Currently studying counselling, Alison continues to expand her expertise in emotional wellbeing, ensuring Aspire2Shine remains a safe, inclusive, and transformative space for all learners.

Philosophy:

“I believe every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported. Aspire2Shine is more than tutoring — it’s a place where confidence grows, curiosity is celebrated, and every learner is empowered to shine.”
